Does going public mean your normal day-to-day operations foul up?
Earlier this morning, I used my cellphone to tweet "Q: Why did Facebook go public? A: Even they couldn't figure out the privacy settings." (Borrowed Stole that quip from the WSJ.)
My tweets automatically show up on my Facebook page. A few people hit Like when they saw it.
When I later went to my Facebook page, I couldn't see several of my older posts. On my own page. Er, what?
Naturally (ha-ha), I tweeted this follow-up: "That crack I made about FB's privacy settings seems to have been noticed. I can't see posts I made on my own profile page. Win."
This too showed up on my Facebook page as expected -- but then my previous post too disappeared! This is what my page looks like now:
I certainly wasted more time than that on FB between May 16th and today.
What's going on, brainiacs? I guess the monkeys are in charge now that everyone has cashed out.
